Should we book a weekend away?

Londoners, just hoping to book a couple of nights at a cosy country hotel within an hour or two train journey. Eat, sleep, read, go for walks depending on the weather.

Is it worth the risk or will it end up being cancelled? The rules keep changing so often that I'm finding it hard to keep up.

At least try and find somewhere that'll refund you when if you're can't go.

I wouldn’t.

HanPanPeg · 18/10/2020 10:21

I would if they will let you cancel

I’ve been looking at this too, but it doesn’t look like much fun atm. Wearing masks in the public areas, restaurants etc, timed slots in the pools/spa and having to be back in your room by 10pm. The prices are still very high and not reflecting all the restrictions.

I would. If its cancelled, its cancelled. Just check their cancellation policy.
I think it helps to have something to look forward to

I would chose a cottage / apartment rather than a hotel so there is more room to relax and can eat in if you prefer; and make sure I could get a refund, but, yes I would go.
