Please help me find a mattress

Please recommend a mattress! We’ve got an Emma that DH hates (too soggy after two nights despite having an extra firm insert layer so we’re rotating nightly). We’ve had an expensive pocket sprung one that developed dips and a ridge down the middle. We’ve had a pillow topped one that was shocking from Bensons (yes, I know...).

I think what we need is a really, really firm turnable mattress with a completely separate pillow top, but I’m open to suggestion.

You want a hybrid. We have the Rem Fit 400 which is supposed to be medium firm but is verging on too firm for me, DH loves it. It has the comfort of memory foam but the support of a normal mattress. It is REALLY firm. They do a firmer one too. It has a cooling layer too. I would highly recommend it.

Relyon make the best mattresses imo. I hated our Emma mattress it was far too soft and gave me back pain

Thanks. I’m only interested in one with a trial period, and I think we may be done with memory foam unfortunately. Does yours recover quickly Lemony? How long have you had it?

Rem Fit have a 100 day trial, it's not like normal memory foam in that it doesn't sink down far so doesn't need to recover as such, I think it's only a very think layer of memory foam to stop it being rock solid. It feels squishy when you climb on to it but when you lie down it feels rock solid. We've had it since the beginning of the summer.
