Steriliser

I have this one from my first born
So haven’t used in three years
Tied it up in a bag and brought down to the cellar
Still have to get around to taking to out
But figured since it’s been three years I want to disinfect it but how do I ? In a safe way?
Should I just throw in a sterilising tablet or what?

I'd just give it a really good soak and wash in a bowl of soapy water using washing up liquid.

Then follow the instructions as though you were using it to sterilise bottles in the microwave a couple of times which should sterilise the inside of the steriliser.

I would soak it in hot soapy water, rinse, then run a normal sterilising cycle. Twice if you are worried!
