I went for an early private scan just for reassurance at 8 weeks, unfortunately the scan was inconclusive as they said it was too small to detect at that moment... they said to re book for two weeks time. They did say that perhaps I have my dates wrong (I haven’t) or that the pregnancy hasn’t progressed, I asked what size it looked like and they said 5 weeks, 5-8 weeks is quite a big difference so I know that I have probably had a missed miscarriage, just have to wait 2 weeks to be told this. Has anyone else had this and perhaps actually it was all ok on the second scan? Or should I be right to think it’s bad news?
