Cleaning a fabric sofa

What can I clean the arms with, on the sofa.

The arms look a bit stained compared to the seat and back.

Usual little things like pen mark, food and drink stains from DC.

A white cloth. Or just get a leather sofa, kids and fabric sofas don't mix.

I've got a VAX carpet cleaner with upholstery attachment which is great for this. It was £100 in Argos I think and I've used it loads. Tend to do it on a sunny/breezy day and then push the sofa near the French doors to help drying, or just stick the heating on if that's not possible. It came with a couple of small bottles of the treatment liquid but you can get big ones on Amazon for £10z
