I can't be bothered to cook. What would you order in?

Chinese! Salt and Pepper chicken, special fried rice, crispy duck and crispy beef.

Alternatively, Indian - chicken Pakora, pilau rice, garlic naan, onion bhajis, Garlic Chicken Tikka and a side salad for crunch.

Or McDonalds - large quarter pounder with cheese, a strawberry milkshake and a mcflurry with a side of chicken nuggets.

Maybe Burger King? Flame Grilled Whopper XL with chicken fries, chips and onion rings and a tango.

KFC - Boneless Banquet for one with gravy, beans AND corn with a Fanta.

Can you tell I've been on a diet since mid September? Grin

Aubergine bhaji, aloo Gobi, sag paneer.
You won't need rice. Onion bhajis and samosa for crunch.

GunsAndShips · 17/10/2020 17:30

I don't live in a place where you can get food delivered, too rural.

WankPuffins · 17/10/2020 17:36

@GunsAndShips I get it. I used to live in very rural Suffolk. I moved there from London. The night we moved in was a shock to say the least when we wanted and easy takeaway and nowhere delivered to us! Nearest town was 5 miles away too and we’d had a couple of beers so couldn’t drive. I cried (and then drank lots more beer) Grin

tobee · 17/10/2020 17:36

Chinese and a tofu dish? Best way to do tofu!

sociallydistained · 17/10/2020 18:08

Yep tofu from the chinese is my fave I've just ordered tofu curry and chips!

GunsAndShips · 17/10/2020 18:31

I'm in Norfolk which is similar to Suffolk but better of course Wink

If you want a taxi, you have to book it a week in advance. Or walk. Sometimes friends visit and are utterly lost. Local town is 10 miles away and everything closes at 4pm. If it bothers to open that day.

WankPuffins · 17/10/2020 18:35

@GunsAndShips it does have its upsides! I’m in the West Midlands now in a big town. I do miss rural living. But not the taxi situation - that’s brought back some bad memories. My village had two busses a week into the closest town (big village) - but none doing the return journey ConfusedGrin

GunsAndShips · 17/10/2020 18:42

Last time I caught the "turns up when it feels like it" local bus, the driver stopped at the roadside and bought a punnet of raspberries, whipped out his flask and had a 20 minute break. I like it as an attitude but it's not conducive to getting anywhere fast. I do love the "I'm thinking about moving from London to rural East Anglia" threads. These people plan to work from home usually whilst nipping to the city on a train here and there. It's a nice thought... They'd need to bring functioning broadband as part of the move.

Haha! So true!

I always laugh at those threads. I did ten years out in the wilds.

BarbaraofSeville · 17/10/2020 19:12

@StuckOnTheM1

I'm leaning towards Indian. There is a veggie restaurant that has very good reviews, however I'm not sure I could convince my carnivorous dh Hmm
Tell him to cook some chicken nuggets to go with it if he can't manage one meal without meat in it.
Breathmiller · 17/10/2020 19:21
