The body's response to stress?

Does anyone else feel like their body knows that they are stressed before they do?

I feel like I can mentally cope quite well when under stress. If anything I kind of thrive on it and enjoy the fast-paced aspect of being busy. Yet my body responds really badly to stress, does anyone else get like this?

When I'm stressed I get various symptoms which include ringing in my ears, twitching eyelids, my gums hurt (?), I get an itchy rash (maybe Eczema?) on my chest, my skin breaks out and I get boils (ughhh). It's such a clear pattern that I know it is stress.

The last two weeks I have been busy doing lots of projects and have been enjoying it. Yet this week one by one my "stress" symptoms have showed up. Surely there is a way to make my body more resilient? Or maybe I am in denial that I am actually stressed?

Stress is a definate cause of physical symptoms.
Longterm it isnt great on the body either.
Ashwaghanda is great. Adaptogenic herbs like this are great for helping the body adapt. I found ashwaghanda wonderful and schisandra too. Magnesium also helps me to sleep well.

Meditation and being in nature is a known soother and has scientific evidence to show that it reduces physical symptoms associated with stress.

Blessings!
