Iron infusion

Have you had one? How long before you felt a difference. Thanks. In hospital, bored and have just finished said infusion having had IV steroids and antibiotics all week. The joys of Ulcerative colitis!

DH had one in June and said it took a couple of weeks to feel a difference.

I started to pick up a bit after about a week.

I had one a couple of days after DD1 was born, I felt instantly a little better, and I was a new woman after a couple of days. Get well soon

Thank you. I made it to the coffee shop in the hospital today, took a while but an improvement!

I had 2 infusions one week apart. I had amaemia due to gynae issues.

I was told it would last around 2 years. I'm past that and my iron has stayed at a reasonable level.

Took about 3 weeks to kick in for me.
