I would be steak and ale. Puff pastry lid and no soggy bottom.

Chicken and mushroom in white sauce.. Pastry on bottom and topped with puff pastry. With mash potatoes, veg and gravy.

Rhubarb, sweet and sour with a sweet shortcrust pastry.

Pecan and chocolate chunk

Chicken Balti. Preferably very spicy

Apple

Cheese and potato with thick stodgy pastry.
Pure comfort.

Chicken and mustard with a puff top, gravy and mushy peas.

Apple with a bit of cinnamon to liven things up.

A big fat one

I would be a pasty - a steak bake.

Ham, chicken, leeks, cheesy sauce. Short crust pastry (because I'm short) but a slightly soggy bottom (well, saggy at least).

Steak and mushroom with all the pastry and preferably a soggy pastry bottom
