Just that really.

My mum once attended an accident site where a man was apparently 30 minutes or so away from dying and coincidentally his son was travelling back from university that night as a surprise, having not been home for 7 months. He stopped at the site (it was on a very narrow lane) and so he saw his father in time. He went that way instead of the main road because he wanted a change of scenery.

Not as shocking but wherever my dh goes he bumps into someone he knows - literally almost every holiday or business trip. I never bump into ANYONE.

DPs, PILs & DB have all been on holidays abroad & got talking to strangers who knew me.

It's been through conversations along the lines of, "Where do you live? Oh really, we've got family there, I bet you won't know them." But they do. I have even seen the photos of them with the person they met, as evidence!
