Christmas ideas for a nearly 5 year old boy

My ds will be 5 in January.

He doesn't know what he would like for Christmas, and I'd love to know what your 5 year olds have enjoyed recently.

He love lego but has quite a bit of already, especially Lego city. He loves police officer stuff, but has a kit/outfit already and a playmobil police station and van.
I've already got a magic set and kerplunk, but I'm looking for ideas for a 'main present'. He doesn't have any tablet/kids computer type things - is 5 too young..?
Thanks!

My youngest ds is 5 and he has asked for the new gravitrax pro starter set as he has the original and loves it. He is also getting an interactive globe, Mario lego starter set, screwball scramble 2 game, and a kiddizoom camera as he loves taking photos and making slow-mo videos.

Transformers.

The kidizoom camera looks really good - hard to know if it would interest him! Thanks for the ideas so far.

I've bought Code-a-Pillar for my son, the same age as yours OP. Also he's had a tablet since he was 2.5 Hmm

ChocolateCoffeeCake · 17/10/2020 08:06

Also getting him a globe as previous poster said

Qwom · 17/10/2020 08:06

Brio Thomas Sets! They're awesome! My DS was obsessed!

BlueRaincoat1 · 17/10/2020 10:23

Thanks for these great ideas! He'd love a marble run actually. Are there any particular brands of marble run anyone would recommend?

YY marble run
Ukelele? Keyboard?

Guineapigbridge · 17/10/2020 11:39

Two wheel scooter?

Feckmesideways · 17/10/2020 11:51

M&S are doing a police onesie atm
There’s a game for the Playstation and Xbox, called lego city undercover for kids and basically you run/drive about as a Lego police man chasing bad guys.

Monty12345 · 17/10/2020 11:54

Just buy him a tonne of toys made from plastic and wrapped in plastic that will never degrade and probably end up in the ocean. That'll really teach him about how precious our planet is / is not.

Feckmesideways · 17/10/2020 15:56

@Monty12345 what is your problem? Wise up.

tempnamechange98765 · 26/10/2020 19:11

Two wheel Micro scooter
Transformers toys
Imagineer toys

BashfulClam · 26/10/2020 20:22

A kids tablet might be good.
