Ringing in ears

My ears keep ringing throughout the day when I’m at home. It doesn’t happen if I go out so it’s caused by something specifically at home. I’ve considered maybe it’s a dog whistle a neighbour is using? But is there anything else that could be doing it? I suffered with tinnitus for years at night but I don’t think it’s that due to it only happening indoors.

If it's quiet at home then maybe you are noticing it? But when you're out, and there's more background noise, you don't notice it.
I've had tinnitus for years, and always have the radio on when I'm at home as a distraction (so I don't have to listen to the constant ringing). Except now, as I'm thinking about it it is REALLY LOUD quite annoying
