What counts as my support bubble?

Sorry if this has been done to death already, did try to look for other threads which might help and scoured detail online but just none the wiser. Trying to figure out what is classed as my support bubble when tier two starts in my region tomorrow. Is it the one I'm currently in with my partner who lives in his own home? Or is it the one with my dc's dad with whom I share care of our dc? ExP never comes in just does pick up/drop off at the front door but partner does stay over regularly. If I'm only allowed a support bubble with one other household though which is it? Is ExP not counted as a bubble? Any clue mumsnetters?

It would be your partner. You can have your dc. But don't let the ex in! As a single person/ parent you can choose your support bubble as long as they aren't already in another bubble!

Thank you @MumPo71. Yep partner lives alone & in no other bubble. Ex doesn't get past the door Smile

From what I can gather (Johnson did mutter a bit about separated dads yesterday) - your partner is your support bubble AND your ex can pick up his child but not come in (2 different regulations).
I'm my daughter and grandson's support bubble but his dad is collecting him for the night today - daughter in tier 2, her ex and I in tier 1.
Wrll,thats how we're doing it!

Your partner is your bubble.
Your children and ex have the right to maintain their relationship.

Two different circumstances.
