What’s your favourite sandwich?

I’ve been low carbing for months and just had some low carb bread rolls delivered. I can’t wait to try them, but need to make the most of my first sandwich in ages. Can anyone help me decide what to put on there?

Love those Christmas sandwiches that are available this time of year, most disappointed that Waitrose had sold out by 11am this morning .

Cheddar cheese and pickle on granary. Without a doubt.

M&S turkey christmas sarnie. When those came out with GF bread I was such a happy bunny! The duck with hoisin wraps they do are fab as well.
I've been gluten free for 22 years, so any sandwich that isn't like eating cardboard is pretty good for me

@KeepOnKeepingOnKeepingOn yes, it was for weight loss. Bread and pasta have always been my downfall. I’m 2 stone down after 4 months (including a holiday “break” in that time)

Crab

Prawn and avocado on ciabatta - mmmmmmm, heaven!

Banana 🍌 it's my favourite 😍

Crunchy peanut butter.

Crab and sliced tomato with lemon mayonnaise instead of butter.
Really naice ham with gruyere cheese.
Melted Brie with cranberry sauce and bacon bits.
Bacon and mustard.

But the best ever is left over cheese fondue grilled just enough to melt it. (I make extra fondue so I have leftovers).

Fresh egg mayo
Roast beef and cheese with a beef sauce for dipping

Mashed potato. Really strong cheddar, black pepper and salad cream. Sandwich of the gods.

Tomato
Houmous, grated carrot and onion marmalade
Cucumber and marmite

Cheese and marmite of course!

Marmite and tomato. Sometimes with lettuce in too.

Diverse choices but ...

Salmon and cream cheese (I always buy that when I'm in Sainsbury's around lunchtime)

Bacon with brown sauce

Club sandwich!!!

I can’t decide between fresh white crab sandwich & club sandwich.

The club sandwich would include chicken, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato & Mayo, on toasted bread.
Granted it’s not the sort of everyday sandwich you knock up for yourself at home!

Christmas sandwiches are my favourite, so turkey or chicken, stuffing and cranberry.

Also bacon, brie and cranberry.

I love sweet and savoury together.
