Just reading about our Queens first official visit out in 7 months today, alongside Prince William, they both look so lovely, always see her carrying her black handbag, but what actually does she need in it?
My son thinks she is arming herself up with pepper spray, the imagination of a 9 year old seriously lol, but honestly with having first lady's and servants at her disposal, what do you think is in her handbag?

But of fun, leave your answers below, I will start,

Lace Handkerchiefs !

I heard she uses her handbag as a signal. She puts it on the table when she wants to leave.

I met her once and was possessed by a strong urge to nick her handbag and have a look. Not only have I never stolen an old lady's handbag, I've never, aside from that time, felt the urge.
I could have just asked her, but was so busy fighting the urge to nick the bag, it didn't occur to me.

She visited my mum's workplace when they were both young. My mum says that they had to make sure the toilet was stocked with sanpro for the occasion, so it isn't that.
