Some Halloween crafts, a few playdates if it'll be allowed, might go on a trip to a local farm. DP is working and I haven't got the energy to do a lot.

Viv0321 · 15/10/2020 16:55

What types of crafts?

If you look on pinterest there's loads of stuff. I've made myself a folder but can't remember off the top of my head what specific things I found.

Pumpkin carving
Apple bobbing
Stunt kite flying
Local library
Slime making
Tie dye t shirts
I’ve bought a new board game, jigsaw puzzle and a science kit. I’ve also bought a metal detector, so we’ll give that a few goes.

Fuck knows.

Hopefully it will still be possible to go to the zoo or trudge through a better class of slimy leaves at the National Trust.

If not, lots of mindless minecrafting.

The only wholesome activity that my kids believe in is hazardous behaviour with sticks...

The only crafty stuff they do is things like quietly sneaking out of bed to watch pokemon undetected until stupid o'clock.

Thankyou everyone Smile

I have just booked some ice skating lessons. Had play dates planned but probably cannot go ahead with those.

Yamashita40 · 15/10/2020 17:34

I've booked an event at an English Heritage place as we're members. Also a Halloween cookery event locally where they're making potions, mocktails and some sort of food. The rest of the time we'll play it by ear as the Halloween parties have all been cancelled.

BillywilliamV · 15/10/2020 17:35

Sitting in the house waiting for a fucking Covid test probably

Raera · 15/10/2020 17:57

We've booked junior Go-Ape

SimonJT · 15/10/2020 18:11

We had a night in a glamping place booked, but as we’re in London I’m not sure if we can still go, technically we can but it depends if the venue are still happy to have us.

I had also planned for my son to have two nights at Grandmas, but he can’t do that now.

Cinema (hopefully), meeting my friend and her dd at the park (hopefully). Loads of Lego (definitely ). I've ordered a load of craft stuff from Baker Ross so we'll do that too. We'll spend all day on the Friday getting the house decorated for a Halloween party .....for just us. I'll probably drink a fair bit of prosecco.
