Id love to buy a Neom diffuser and oils but they are very pricey. Any alternatives. I really need to reduce my stress in my body

I physically feel so stressed. its in my throat. I cant swallow or breathe well.

im doing as much as I can to reduce the stress but nothing lasts.

my DD has a cheap amazon diffuser and oils and they smell ok but I get migraines from artificial scent.

I do love aromatherapy oils so would love to treat myself.

can I get something as good as Neom without the price tag?

Are you taking other steps to address your stress/anxiety and these physical symptoms? I would recommend looking up NHS online information about stress and anxiety and following the advice there about when to self-manahe and when to seek further support.

I am thanks. I have a therapist who is helping me immensely. I also have a dr's appt booked mid nov.

My HRT dose may be wrong but its being addressed. My eldest son is severely mentally unwell and its taking its toll on me.

You can buy the neom oils for £20 then add a few drops to water in a cheaper diffuser. This is what I do.

Tbh you’d probably spend at least a tenner on a decent mixed oil anyway.

I buy scent to destress.

The diffusers are all the same aren't they? just some look posher than others.

Its the oil that makes the difference then?

You can buy really cheap diffusers on eBay, and then essential oils or essential oil blends from somewhere like Essential Oils Direct. Neom is nice, but hugely pricey for what it is.

AuntieJoyce · 15/10/2020 15:58

Yes. Just buy the oil you like and add drops to water in the diffuser

I think Neom are nice but definitely not the nicest candles/diffusers I have come across and I have received many as gifts.

I received a beautiful gift from a visiting friend last December from a company I had never heard of La Bougie....gorgeous candles/Diffusers....I intend to buy from them whenever mine are finished.
Sage and Bitter Orange...gorgeous

that sounds nice billy.

I LOVE my Neom diffuser, it was a real indulgence for me as tbh I’ve only ever bought Neom from TK Maxx (not seen them in there for a long time though) after staying at a very very nice hotel that had their candles burning in all the communal areas. We got engaged there and the smell takes me right back. BUT this won’t solve your problems. It’s just a posh steam machine. It sounds like you need some professional help with your anxiety which I know is hard atm, our GP surgery is being very difficult with giving people appointments. in our area I think you can self refer for mental health support though so please do look into that x maybe check ebay for Neom to see if you can get it a bit cheaper, the ‘scent to make you happy’ is my absolute favourite and is really relaxing. But please don’t fall into the trap of thinking an object can change your life. It can’t. I only bought mine as I have a toddler and wouldn’t feel right using candles around her. I always had candles burning before she was born and it’s nice to get some scent back to the house.

Thanks operationally. great website

awkward. I dont think an object will solve my problems. Its just part of a bigger way to help myself manage stress.
