6 and a half month old has been put in amoxicillin fir an dar infection. But severeeeeee Diarrhoea. Help is this normal??

So i am aware one if the side effects of amoxicillin is diarrhoea, but its becoming ridiculous. Hes passing loose watery, undigested milk food every half an hour.. worse was 3 x in 1 hr.
I have spoken to the pharmacy and they fobbed me off saying speak to your Dr. Dr cant speak to me without a appt request which takes aaageeess.. Hes on day 3.
Just need some reassurance. Has any other mamas been through this. Help x

I would call 111 and they will probably have a gp call you back.

DS1 used to get a bad tummy with calpol (because of the artificial sweeteners) but not as bad as that.

Slight diarrhoea is normal but what you're describing doesn't, I'd call 111
