When is Oct half term in England?

I don't think its the same throughout England.

Some next week and some week after i think.

I break up for half term on Friday 23rd October.

My niece has two weeks starting tomorrow.

We break up tomorrow.

It changes by Local Authority

Depends where you are. Google the name of your school or local authority and 'term dates'. Should come up fairly easily.

go on either your school or your local council website and they'll have the details there.

Friday 23rd but other areas near here break up tomorrow.

It is never the same everywhere, although this year it does seem to fall into one of 2 weeks.

many places have the week beginning Monday 26th October.
But others are the week before (Mon 19th)

then some (like around here) add on an extra 2 days. Eg here we have week of 26th, plus the Thurs and Fri before.

I'm in Scotland, I just wondered as we keep hearing another lock down may happen over half term, and obviously they mean half term in England. Where I live half term is just now.

Two of my children have 2 weeks starting on Friday (although we're all at home awaiting a covid result at the moment). The other has 10 days starting next thursday.

October 23rd for our area.
