30C or 15C max

I have the 15C max and it’s great.

I don’t think the boundary strips are worth paying extra for.

BrigitsBigKnickers · 14/10/2020 22:11

Ah that's the sort of advice I am looking for! Thanks

My 15C max arrived today, purchased on Prime yesterday. He’s already been christened Bert and has transformed the downstairs of our house. He’s being let loose upstairs tomorrow. Can’t wait Grin

I've got a 30C, it's great.

There was a robovac thread on here previously, that's how I ended up with one!

Crazydogmumma · 14/10/2020 22:28

I have a 15c Max- I think it is worth having the max as the auction is better. Not sure the boundary strips on the 30c are worth paying extra for.
I love mine- my house has never looked so clean!

MysweetAudrina · 14/10/2020 22:30

Had to go and check which one I impulse bought at 7am this morning. So looking forward to setting it while wfh upstairs and coming down to a clean floor. Bit worried how the dog will react to it as he loses his mind at the normal one. I bought the 15c one. No idea what that means though or what the difference between them is.

BrigitsBigKnickers · 14/10/2020 22:31

Can't see that one -must have sold out

You gave him a cup of hot water?

BrigitsBigKnickers · 14/10/2020 22:56

Got the 30C!

What are the robo vacs like with dog hair please? Hmm

WorkingItOutAsIGo · 14/10/2020 23:04

Is the 30C the one I should buy? Been reading these threads and so want one and had forgotten about Prime Day until I saw this!

honeybeetheoneandonly · 15/10/2020 00:14

@workingItOutasigo Don't worry, they usually have deals on for Black Friday again. I got the 15C max last year and love it. Just can't watch it because its aimless wanderings are driving me crazy but the end result is great.

@Suzi888 It's doing well with my pet's short hair.

Suzi888 · 15/10/2020 06:41

Thanks @honeybeetheoneandonly I’ve got a lab, these vacs look quite compact. He would probably chew it thinking about it!

My greyhound flipped mine when I first got it but now ignores it. Would be difficult to chew I think. They’re pretty solid.

Well just used the new Eufy 30C (AKA Bernard) while I was working from home. Cleaned 3 rooms and my large hallway. Most of this was hard floors so I have just zipped round with the mop after Bernard finished and it's all done! Actually very impressed with how he managed especially on the hard floors- one small corner he couldn't reach but amazed at what he managed to pick up. I have found that the best way for my house is to close the door and do a 30min programme in each room- my downstairs is quite big and I think he works more efficiently than just meandering around. I also have a very old, deaf sleepy dog who wouldn't hear him coming and would end up having her tail sucked up so easier to keep her out of the way.

DH thinks it's ridiculous and has spent all day moaning about what a waste of money it is (£142) and for it to take 30 mins to clean a room when the shark will only take ten mins ( with muggins pushing it around of course🙄) Wouldn't mind but he bought a new boat last week which was ££££££!

Obviously I gave him the choice- Bernard stays or he goes back and DH can vac from now on. Grin

Oblomov20 · 24/10/2020 11:15

Can I persuade Dh to let me buy one?

spearly · 24/10/2020 11:26

Is a follow up with a vacuum with nozzle needed in addition? I get lots of fluff in corners and around the edge of skirting boards and I wondered how well Eufy copes with this. Thanks.

TrickyD · 24/10/2020 11:35

No vacuum follow up here. Ours (the 30C) has an ‘edge’ option, where it moves along skirtings etc.

BrigitsBigKnickers · 24/10/2020 13:19

Yeah I don't find the edges or corners are missed- only one corner wasn't and that was behind a table. In the bedroom in sent him off round the edges first then did the 30 min prog after. Sorted.

Only problem I had was forgetting to empty the container which then left a few fluffy bits around. I am amazed at how much he picks up! Easily as much as the shark! ( who is now sulking in the cupboard under the stairs! ) Grin
