Despite blood tests saying she wasn't. She was adamant she was and was getting a to scan to check .

Curious but also wonder if she was aright! Was a month or so ago now..

I think the thread was deleted.

I am sure she was a previously banned poster.

PurpleDaisies · 14/10/2020 22:57

There have been so many recently...

HotGlueGun · 14/10/2020 23:30

Ooh I wondered about this! Was it not genuine then?

PoorMansPaulaRadcliffe · 14/10/2020 23:43

The title of the thread was something like: "I'm pregnant but doctor says I'm not" when it should more accurately have read: "I believe myself to be to pregnant despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary". Happily for her, a load of women emerged fairly late in the day to say that the bleedin' know-it-all doctors had said a similar thing to them, but that they had at that moment armfuls of child to evidence the fact that up-themselves medical professionals aren't always right and that the OP should listen to her body, etc etc . . . 🙄

Trollerama.

She was going for a scan last time I read that thread, was she really a pbp?

DressingGownofDoom · 15/10/2020 00:01

Oh!! Was she the cryptic pregnancy lady? There is actually a website convincing people this is real you know!

BarbaraofSeville · 15/10/2020 08:20

Was she one of the 'can you see this invisible line' crew?

Surely for a test to be positive, the second line that indicates that the test is positive has to look like the picture showing you how the test works and be roughly the same level of darkness as the line that's there to show that the test has worked properly?

Otherwise it's a pretty shite product if 90% of these 'positive' tests look exactly the same as one that's negative and would be pretty distressing for anyone doing a test and hoping that it's negative?

PurpleDaisies · 15/10/2020 08:23

I agree @BarbaraofSeville

Those sorts of threads are like the emperor’s new clothes. Really cruel.

I would say they’re worse for people desperate to be pregnant to be told they are and they their period arrives. That false hope is a killer.

Port1aCastis · 15/10/2020 08:24

Troll who was talking out of her arse

BabyLlamaZen · 15/10/2020 10:03

Seriously a troll?

No, if I'm thinking of the same person, she was absolutely adamant that she was pregnant, despite numerous negative tests, and a visit to her GP, and she was cross because the GP wouldn't refer her for a scan because there were no objective indications that she was pregnant. I think when the thread was zapped, she was trying to arrange a scan somehow to 'prove' her pregnancy.

I can't remember the deletion message, but I did wonder whether the poster was having a 'phantom pregnancy', rather than deliberately trolling.
