How to post a petition

I posted a petition here a couple of days ago but it got deleted. I didn't realise it was against the rules as I'm sure I've seen people posting petitions here before. Do I need to get it approved first? It isn't my petition, just one that I support.

You have to put it on the petitions board. Yours might just have been moved there.

Ah, I didn't realise there was a petitions board. I've just found it and mine isn't there so it was deleted rather than moved. Can anyone just post directly on the petitions board, or do I need to check with someone at MNHQ first?

Yes, anyone can post there.

Was your petition about something particularly contentious?

In my opinion it wasn't contentious. It's about something that gets discussed a lot on here. There's loads of threads about it.

I'll try posting on the petitions board then and see what happens.
