tax codes for paying maintenance

hi can anyone tell, if they know do you get increased allowances from gov if you paying maintenance.

You used to. Pretty sure they removed it about 40 years ago.

There used to be tax concessions for maintenance, but they ended in the eighties.

I don't get tax relief for paying for my DC's clothes, food etc so I can't imagine someone paying maintenance would Confused
