Flu jab reactions

Has anybody has a bad reaction to the flu jab? I had it because I’m pregnant and spent all of yesterday vomiting - 12 times in total!

I’m not certain but I don’t think vomiting is a usual side effect of the flu jab.
Maybe you have been unlucky and picked up a bug or eaten something that doesn’t agree with you?
The only reaction I’ve ever had from the flu jab has been a sore/achey arm for a couple of days
Hope you feel better soon op

I get the flu jab every year and I've never had any sort of reaction. It sounds like it's likely to be coincidental (just unlikely to got a bug at the same time - if you had the jab at the surgery, it's possible you could have even picked something up from there). But I would be in touch with your midwife if you are truly unwell because it may be something they want to investigate further if it's pregnancy-related.

Its not a live vaccine so shouldn't have side effects, i secondcalling your midwife for advice

Incorrect. Of course it can have side effects. It just can’t give you the flu because it’s not a live vaccine.

I have HG so I’m used to vomiting but with the medication, maybe twice a day. Yesterday was horrific! Feel better today. I googled it and some other people have vomited after the flu jab.

🤞🏻 whatever it was has finished now!
