Leaving Virgin Media - advice

felineflutter · 14/10/2020 10:25

I have just cancelled my Virgin package which is costing me £100 per month. I am also paying for Disney Plus and netflix on top. Shock

I have signed up for Sky which will be £70 per month but includes Netflix and disney plus and top broadband(probably rubbish after Virgin) and their 4k box, kids channels and disney etc

Am I making a mistake or can anyone let me know if there is a better option? I like sky news and cinema. I have also bought an Amazon firestick! I am so confused. Grin Please help.

We have virgin and decided to stick with them despite the price simply because they're the fastest in the area. For £30pm cheaper though maybe I could be tempted to slower internet. I've no experience with sky broadband but I much prefer their tv experience to virgin. (I still have virgin at home though)

We were with sky a few years back and their customer service is atrocious. It might have improved since but virgin media is stupidly expensive, that’s why we changed to plusnet.
