70th birthday present

DM is 70 next month. We were going to see her but given that she's in Cardiff and we're in England, that's highly unlikely now.

I'm trying to think of what to send her. I'll order flowers but I need something else too.

She doesn't drink alcohol. Likes sweet things, though more along the lines of Cadburys than Hotel Chocolate.

What does your mum like/do, apart from eating chocolate?

Cashmere jumper? Heated throw?

Walking, learning languages, the WWI poets.

She doesn't really spoil herself, so a heated throw sounds nice.

Some good gloves for walking - waterproof, windproof, nicer than she'd buy herself.
