I’ve moved in with a family member so bills etc aren’t in my name. I won’t have proof of address from my stuff such a bank statements for another month or so. I need regularly medication so need to be registered right away really.

I work at a doctors surgery. When new patients register they don't have to provide proof of address. You could try ringing them or pop in and get the necessary forms to fill in.

Are you receiving wages or benefits? That should show your address. Bank account too.

You can also be seen as a temporary resident, i.e. if you're staying with or visiting friends or family.

We have to provide proof of address in our area and I have always had to provide proof for previous gp registrations in other areas. Can you not get one month's supply of your medication from your previous gp to tide you over? I would call your closest gp and ask if they accept patients without proof of address. Clearly, some places do.

You're entitled to be seen as a temporary resident.
