Consultant letter

After you have seen a consultant and receive a letter regarding what was said at your appointment and it’s incorrect. what do you do?

Call the secretary’s number at the top of the letter and explain. If it is something of consequence I would also ask for an email address to put it in writing.

Wrong to what extent? The letter itself may not be altered if it’s about perception/subjective but may be if it’s an objective factual mistake (date of procedure, medication etc).

You may just get a second letter which states that patient has contacted department and stated X.
