If I’m symptomatic and awaiting a test result should the app have instructed the rest of my household to isolate? Or just if I get a positive result? Surprised that those I live with, including dh with whom I have shared a bed with our phones on our respective bedside tables, have not had an alert.

If you are symptomatic your household needs to isolate in line with guidance- you don’t need to wait to be told by NHS or T&T ( I think those alerts are triggered by a positive result as you say)

They are isolating, just a bit surprised it’s not been triggered and questioning the sensitivity of the app and other people’s experience.
