What a transformation from bumbling Boris whizzing along zip wires, rugby tackling youngsters, turning up uninvited at the White House chuckling away and various other ‘jolly’ old escapades.......To the man we see now looking decidedly downtrodden after months of (mis)handling this pandemic and a dose of Covid to contend with for his efforts.
I’ve never been a fan of his and wouldn’t vote for his crowd but we are stuck with him for the foreseeable. Although I can also see that anybody in the PM’s position is largely stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. But surely it’s a time when cross party working would be a good way to go to gain some consensus on the Covid crisis when the country needs it most? Something's got to change hasn’t it, otherwise the same mistakes will just keep on being repeated?
Anyway, do you think if Boris somehow magically recovered his mojo it would make some kind of beneficial difference to his leadership and decision making? Or is it possible things could actually get worse?
