Big Windows 10 update. Huuuuuuge. Takes a looooooooong time

Just a heads up for those running Windows 10 - there's an update yesterday/today that is massive. It took my laptop about 2 hours to get through it.

So, a warning - don't run the update if you need to use your computer soon!

Thanks for the warning. I'll do it overnight if I get it, but there's nothing yet.

DH had it too. Maybe they don't send it to everyone at the same time?

It's a features upgrade, or something. My graphics on the bottom bar and home screen have changed.

Good idea. I kept thinking it had finished, but it restarts your computer multiple times.

Did you get it updated? Did it take aaaaaaaaages?

Or was that just my little laptop

There was one about a month ago that took aaages to install, about an hour and a half for me. Hmmm, something to look forward to...

Could be! Maybe they are rolling it out to different machines at different times/dates.
