Sending flowers - which company to use?

Any recommendations? I haven’t sent flowers for a while but have always used interflora (with mixed results). I need to send flowers and maybe a small gift like chocolate to a friend who is having a hard time.

Try Serenata- my sister sent our mum some and they were v impressive - very fresh and fitted through the letterbox. We sent MIL some for her birthday last week and they were lovely- lasted ages :-)

RunningFromInsanity · 11/10/2020 22:05

Never had any issue with Serenata and I’ve used them several times.
Next day delivery, lovely flowers.

SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 11/10/2020 22:06

I also use Serenata. Especially when I forget to send flowers until the last minute, which happens quite often Blush

SunshineCake · 11/10/2020 22:07

I also say Serenata. I was told about them by a friend and sent flowers for a birthday.

itsme7 · 11/10/2020 22:09

I use Bloom & Wild and they’re always lovely and last well.

Cornish blooms send gorgeous flowers and have little extras you can add.

latheritup · 11/10/2020 22:10

Bloom & Wild. I absolutely love them. They arrive in bud so they last very long and arrive in your letterbox.

Elouera · 11/10/2020 22:11

I personally try to avoid the large companies like interflora/ serenata. I look for florists in the town/area I want it sent. Check reivews and give them a call. Often got a much better deal also by going local and calling/emailing direct.

Nowisthemonthofmaying · 11/10/2020 22:11

I normally look up their local florist and do a phone order - you generally get better value that way and it's good to support local businesses! Have always had mixed results from the bigger companies.

@itsme7

I use Bloom & Wild and they’re always lovely and last well.

I have used these a few times and the flowers are always excellent!

Another vote for Bloom and Wild

I’ve used bloom and wild a lot and they are amazing. I’ve also used and been very pleasantly surprised by moonpig. They often have offers and the flowers I’ve sent have been gorgeous.

Freddie’s Flowers

Bloom and Wild - I've ordered these for family, friends and myself now. Love the letterbox ones as it's handy if the recipient is out. Beautifully presented and gorgeous flowers that last for ages. Won't use anyone else now that I've been converted for the last few years.

mozzrules · 11/10/2020 22:16

Another vote for Bloom and Wild - their flowers last for ages and are so beautiful and their customer service is excellent.

Bloom and wild

Maidofdishonour · 11/10/2020 22:18

Great ideas of flowers that fit through the letterbox. My friend is a teacher and is finding it really tough.
Thanks for the recommendations

I have sent M&S flowers twice recently and both were beautiful.

Bezzi · 11/10/2020 22:19

Another recommendation for Bloom and Wild!
If you get the app and use code 20APPY I think you'll get 20% off. (I did this recently)

Ilovewillow · 11/10/2020 22:19

Bloom and Wild and Freddie's Flowers are both excellent

Rainallnight · 11/10/2020 22:19

Someone recently sent me very beautiful flowers from Petalon. They have a choice of just two bouquets every week and they change them to be seasonal. They were stunning

FizzyPink · 11/10/2020 22:19

Bloom and Wild are always fantastic.

I also really rate Appleyard flowers. I sent a friend a lemon tree from there recently and she loved it

Cherry321 · 11/10/2020 22:21

Feel free to ignore, but if you did want to try bloom and wild, here is my referral link and will save us both a tenner.

Mixed results with Freddie’s flowers but bloom and wild were good for me bar one bunch which they refunded the cost of.

ReviewingTheSituation · 11/10/2020 23:07

Bloom and Wild. The flowers always last ages. Means they're great value for money.
