Bloody plumbers

What in the name of Jesus do you have to do to get a plumber to do a job for you?
My heating has packed up, called a plumber who came round, diagnosed the problem but didn’t have the right tool to undo a bolt Hmm. He went away and said he would let me know when he would be back- heard nothing since.
Called another plumber who said he would be here today between 10 and 12 . He has just texted to say ‘something has come up’ and could he come on Tuesday.
Why are reliable tradesmen so bloody hard to find?

Oh dear, that's not good.
DS is a plumber, he went out on a call yesterday 8am as someone had water pouring from their boiler and hes going out this afternoon as someone has no Heating.
He works for himself so no work, no money.
There are good ones around!
I've yet to have a plasterer turn up when they promised tho😖

I'm in the same boat, had a plumber round to fix heating, he needed to order a part and was going to text me the price, I've chased him up twice via text and a phone call and still no price.
Last week I decided to try someone new, he was going to come either Thursday or Friday and didn't turn up on either.

Have a fab semi retired plumber, he keeps my house, rental and caravan ticking over as well as other family members.
Really reasonable and he won’t let me have a new boiler unless he says so 😂

I guess they’re so busy they can pick and choose jobs, so frustrating, I changed my plans today as well, I was going to see my elderly parents.

I don't know what it is with plumbers but most of them are like this.

When you find one, keep him, and when people ask for recommendations for a plumber, don't give them his details, because the more work he gets, the less likely he will be available when you need him.
