What’s your favourite photo taken in 2020?

Most of us have been stuck close to home all year, with little to no international travel and “forced” to appreciate all the more what is on our doorstep.

I was lucky to manage a road trip an hour or so from my home, and took this photo, which I was delighted with.

On a short break in Shropshire. The walk was described as 'moderate' but it was practically vertical in places. I have joint and back issues so it was bloody hard and I was so proud of myself when I got to the top. The views made it all worthwhile

I have too many to choose from! I used lockdown to my advantage and took quite a lot of photos. Bluebells, my sewing, a war memorial, a trip to see some lighthouses and lots and lots of photos of my children would all feature!

No pot of gold

Watching sunrise while eating bacon sandwiches on the beach is one of my favourite experiences during lockdown. DCs probably wouldn’t agree but the early start was worth it.

I can't decide between these two: a friend's dog absolutely loving life on the beach a couple of weeks ago, or the first time we took aviation-obsessed DS plane-spotting at Brize Norton and discovered a spot where he could watch the huge military planes coming in right overhead ('Probably the best day of my life' - high praise indeed from a teenager!)

An empty M25 for me! Not sure why I like it so much though😂! Living close between 2 very busy junctions- the peace & quiet was strange!

A bee in the garden. Even last year I would have run flapping from a bee so I was quite proud of myself for getting close enough to take a photo!

End of May. Happy to live in a lovely area.
