Wondering if any mumsnetters can help..
I have DD (almost 9) who is a little small for her age. She is 126cm tall approx and inside leg around 23 inches. She currently has a 16 inch bike but has well outgrown it.
I also have DS who is (almost) 7 and I think a little bit taller for his age than average. He is 123cm tall and inside leg around 22 inches. He also has a 16 inch bike and has almost outgrown it (altho the frame seems bigger than DDs).
I'm going backwards and forwards as to whether to get them 20 inch or 24 inch size bikes for Christmas as a suprise. I don't want to get them something they cant quite ride on Christmas morning but equally I don't want something they will outgrow in a year's time
Any thoughts from parents of similar sized kids? The size guides on different websites have different measurements so not all that helpful ha.
