Good morning! What's everyone up to today?

I've not been up long, just having a cup of tea while dd2 is reading at the side of me.

I don't think we'll do much today. There's the normal weekend stuff to do & dd2 has a sweetie making kit she wants to make so we'll do that. Neither of the girls has homework.

I have a handbag I want to repair, and some sewing I want to do so will do that depending what the girls want to do.

What's everyone else up to today? :)

Trip to town for some school trousers, the soft jersey variety.
A mountain of washing, which DH is currently martyring himself loudly for.
Some sorting as we are moving house before Christmas, and our house is rammed to the gunnels.
Some internet based research into fabric for curtains.

No homework as I spend Friday nights helping the DC with theirs.

This evening we're watching series one of ghosts.

Painting the 2 metre wooden handle of the boat hook that I sanded down yesterday.

I’ve just finished my second coffee and really ought to get up.
DD is working on an elaborate Playmobil construction. DS is eating biscuits while watching Paw Patrol, happy as a clam. DH is pretending he’s still asleep but fooling no one

Everything we wanted to do is either not possible or booked up. So I guess we’re pottering around at home. I’m fearing boredom and cabin fever will set in so I might nag everyone out for a walk this afternoon. Personally I could happily spend days on end just quietly at home, but sadly I live with restless people.

I did the weekly shop last night so we’re set for the weekend. I’m making this lemony chicken casserole later:

DH is away with work, DS is on his first day of school vacations so not doing anything, DD is getting the ingredients for brownies and I am halfway through my cleaning list.

It looked like rain but is clearing up.

The DC are self isolating so we're finding indoor things to do for them this weekend. DH is currently playing football and I need to go and get some grout for our new bathroom when he gets back but at the moment we don't really have plans. The best kind of weekend!

Off to B&Q to get paint as the city is entering bloody lockdown at 6. Only place i can get it!

Then bake a cake, clean the bathrooms, potter, and make curry for tea

I’m at a beauty salon for waxing and nails right now, then popping into town with DP for bits and a look around.

Dunno what to do for tea and won’t be happy unless I have a nap at some point.

Then strictly tonight while I send some work emails. Can’t drink cos Im on antibiotics for an ear infection

We're isolating, our shopping has just been delivered & put away. I'm going to do some knitting, I'm making wrist warmers for the dc as school are being quite reasonable about the children wearing extra layers in class now it's getting colder. I might do some gardening later too. The dc are currently building something with mass amounts of duplo & wooden train track. DH might do some baking with them this afternoon.

Just lolling around at the moment. DP is having a shower. DD(6) is munching toast and watching cartoons on the sofa, periodically complaining that her tooth hurts. I’ll have a shower soon. We ought to get out for a bit of fresh air while it’s dry.
I’ll be going into town later for best friend’s 50th birthday dinner. Not going to be a late one, given the 10 pm thing.

Currently finishing my coffee. Need to make pancakes for breakfast (rashly promised yesterday). Haircut for ds, maybe outside in the afternoon if the weather holds up and out for dinner with DM tonight before we get locked down on Monday

In bed with DS watching cartoons while DH pops to the shops to get stuff for a fry up!

Oh, and I might make a ginger cake for DDad’s birthday tea tomorrow. Or I might leave it until tomorrow.

We've had message from school about a second lockdown so preparing for what we will need to buy like new printer, books etc.

Then DH is going down to our old house which is for sale and doing a bit of work there and also going to B&Q to get some new taps.

I've got a kidney infection which is never ending so will be on antibiotics and in bed.

Teenage DS and DD will be watching films or with our pets and homework avoiding.

Dh got called into work early this morning so not sure when he will be home. I did a yoga class online and was supposed to be going to the cash and carry with dh to stock up on some supplies. We are in the middle of redecorating our bedroom, so the remainder of the floor needs to go down and our new ikea bed assembled. Expecting a call from sd2 in Canada later and need to sort out some kitchen presses and do a food shop.

I need to nip to the post office to send a parcel. When I get back I'll get dinner out of the freezer and make lunch. It's forecast to be nice tomorrow so I'm leaving the laundry until then as it's already raining. DS has got loads of homework so I might encourage him to do at least a couple of subjects today rather than leave it all for tomorrow. I've got to go out again this afternoon and get a click and collect shop but DH and DD1 will put it away. Then I'll carry on working on a sock that I'm knitting - hopefully there will be wine and a film this evening too.

Awful night with the 3yo up for hours. Been to football practice and playground, just trying to keep the older child happy, not kill the exhausted bad-tempered younger one and clean the filthy shit tip we live in.

Sorting out my winter wardrobe ! A horrible job but when it's all done it's lovely !

I've cleaned out the guinea pigs, put their blankets on to wash, cleaned the kitchen, emptied the trap under the sink , tried to catch a mouse under the cupboards, thought about getting a cat, tidied the fridge ready for the food shop and done a supermarket order.

I’m isolating, so I’m searching the cupboards for good things to eat...

Attempting a 2 mile run shortly. Had to rest with a knee injury for six weeks but Physio gave me the all clear to start again- so it's my first run back. Scared. Will 💯 be blowing out both ends.

Still in bed no plans to get up soon

Shall make some lunch soon

Snuggling on the sofa with my dogs and weighted blanket.

I will spend all day alternating between reading, the internet and listening to an audio book.

Left over lasagne with some wine this evening.

Oh, and at some point I will have a nap I'm sure.

I downloaded just dance on the PlayStation as I need to move more and thought it might be fun but DD is currently playing tomb raider so impatiently waiting for her to finish! I've prepped a beef stew which is in the slow cooker. We'll have that later with wine and a movie. Got a load of washing in. Fresh sheets for tonight, love fresh sheet day! Other than that will potter a bit and do some reading.

I made myself a dish of oven vegetables and overdid it on our homemade chili sauce. There is steam coming out of my ears.
