Why no welcome pack?

We're away in an Airbnb in the UK and there's no welcome pack due to Covid 19. I realise I may be being dim, but why is this? I can understand not giving you things like loose tea bags, but why not a pint of milk or wrapped items?

Brazenly

It just goes to show you can’t please everyone.

Some will complain at the slightest hint of dust on top of a wardrobe and others that the house has been cleaned too thoroughly.

As others have said, they will be complying with COVID cleaning policy from AirBnB which be based on guidance and protocols given to the self catering industry from government. Most places are working hard to stay on top of advice and comply an often at cost to themselves.....and all some people do is moan that there is a bleach smell......when we’re living in a pandemic.

Oh well, maybe next week the government will say there can’t be anymore overnight stays, so that will put an end to the bleach smells and also to the lack of welcome packs and other annoying things the hospitality sector has been doing.

And maybe by next summer or whenever it will be safe to travel wholesale again, many of them will have gone bankrupt or had to shut up shop and so there will be a whole host of different complaints from holidaymakers.
