Shoes for overpronation

Hi

My daughter has been diagnosed with overpronation in her feet . We have seen a specialist and were given insoles .

However these are making little difference and she's still going over significantly and ruining shoes . Her school shoes maybe have two weeks left in them before there's going to be a hole in the bottom of them.

I'm going to have to buy her new shoes/boots for the winter . I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything that would help. Or if anyone knows of any supportive boots that I can get her .

I can't afford to buy new shoes every half term

Thanks.

I have always had this problem and ended up using the shaped insoles in shoes. However, I have recently noticed that this no longer happens and it must be from yoga practice which I started about 5 months ago. I looked in the mirror and noticed my ankles are straight!

An old fashioned cobbler used to build my shoes up slightly when he resoled them. You can use those metal studs as well, to put on the side that gets worn down. Effectively, they correct the stance.
