How to grow my spider babies (plants!)

Hello, I was hoping these spider plant babies would grow roots so I can plant them. I planted one to see if it would grow anyway, it didn't.

Any advice please? They've been in this glass a week now.

Thanks so much.

I would pot it up in soil and wait for it to produce a flower which will become the baby plant.

Don't let it get soggy by overwatering. The baby will spring out on a long stem from the flower in time.

I would leave them in there a bit longer - they should sprout roots but it might take some time.

I just always put them in soil straight away and water one a week. I've had them for years, start over often (because I like the look better) and give them away to everyone. They mostly take.

I potted these up about a month ago and they have settled nicely and put on some growth but they already had some short roots while they were still on the parent plant.

Thanks everyone. Really appreciate all your replies. I'll leave them another week to see if they grow roots then I'll try potting again.
