Sending Shopping from the States to Uk - Stackry?

Does anybody buy things online from America and use one of the companies that forward on. A friend and I were thinking of buying Bath and Body stuff or bits from Walmart and sharing postage. How do these companies work. Thanks

The few times I have done it I have been stung with a customs bill which is separate to the price and delivery and appears some weeks later in the post, and makes you question all your life choices to date Grin
