Like lots of people just now sadly, DH is going through the redundancy process. However in his case, there is a new role being created that he will apply for which is something at least.
Is it usual for no one to really know what that role will entail? He's had his first redundancy meeting and no one was even able to tell him what the salary was let alone a job description. In some ways the job description is self explanatory but I assumed the company would have to know exactly which roles they had to offer and what each entailed as well as salary details, additional benefits etc.
Are the company just a bit hopeless or is this the norm?
