I have no right to feel like this, can someone hand me a grip?

I am permanently on the verge of a panic attack. Its almost entirely c19 based. I'm afraid.
I live in a big house, not working as furloughed, no major money issues, although small concerns but keeping my fingers crossed. Currently in reasonable health although I am obese I'm working on it. I don't go out at all. I live in the UK not a bloody refuge camp so I don't understand why I am so panicky. Are any grips available?

I've been a bit the same. Keeping risk low allows me to manage these feelings. I know I'm safe in my house and garden etc.

Is there pressure on you from family to meet them etc? As that has been driving me barmy and i could sympathise there.

You are not alone. We are doing absolutely fine work and money wise, no problems otherwise, and everything in normal times would be lovely (after a few awful years) and yet I am so depressed and down and panicky I don't quite know what t do

Without work you're probably a bit bored and have too much time on your hands to worry. Is there anything you can do to keep yourself and your mind occupied.

You're not alone. My DH has underlying health issues which could cause problems if he got the virus, but apart from that we are fine. I have a low level anxious feeling though, hard to sleep etc. It's not surprising, given that we are living in such an abnormal situation. The endless news cycle of doom doesn't help.

I find getting outside, even if just in the garden (again, lucky to have one!) helps as does exercise. Be gentle with yourself, too. If you need to/can have a duvet day once in a while, do it. Have a nice bubble bath or other simple treat.
