Spider sex... then what...?

So I get that they are in our homes because they are looking for a mate - I can't judge, I spent my 20s in nightclubs doing the same.

What I want to know is what happens once they've DTD. Do they both fuck off back under the shed at the bottom of the garden or do they continue to hang out behind my wardrobe and will baby spiders pop out in 9 months?

I kind of know they lay eggs in a "nest" because I have these round the windows frame but can someone explain spider parenting / or lack of, without freaking me out.

Do Mummy spiders eat the Daddy or is that just Praying Mantis?

I think mum eats dad. Then she lays her egg sac, protects it for a while then dies.

@AlCalavicci - PMSL! That is probably the perfect description of spider sex / domesticity!
