Do hotel bars close to residents at 10pm?

We're hoping to get away for a couple of days at HT while DH recovers from a major op 6 weeks ago. The plan is long leisurely breakfast, short walk/potter about, afternoon nap for him, spa or run for me, nice dinner and drinks. A few days of doing very little.

TBH we'll probably be nearly ready for bed by 10pm Grin but will we get chucked out of the public areas in the hotel?

I just had a weekend away near the Lake District and yes. Restaurants and bars had you out at 10. Was still nice to get away

Yes and no room service alcohol either (jury's inn)

Gosh, it must hardly make it worth their while opening, especially in places where people tend to go "out" in the early evening. As it happens, I think it will make little difference to us.
