Hertfordshire restaurant for lunch recommendations please

Dh and I have an appointment in Potters Bar on Friday and want to go somewhere nice for lunch first.

I used to live in the area but moved away 23 years ago so have no idea what's around now.

Any suggestions please? We like most types of food. Doesn't have to be Potters Bar itself but not too far from there.

Lussman's in St Alban's? Very nice brasserie. They have other Herts branches too.

Judges in Northaw or The Two Brewers also in Northaw

Think St Albans is a little too far west. Will have a look at the Northaw ones. Thank you.

If you’re after something light and inexpensive, then The Ferny Hill Tea Room. If you want a Gastropub, then Brookmans or The Goffs Oak. If you want something special, then West Lodge Park Hotel (you can stroll in the grounds afterwards).

Looking for something a bit nicer than every day. I know West Lodge Park, will have a look there.
