We all know the negatives to Covid-19, I’m missing going out and seeing friends, seeing family. I’ve lost my job due to restrictions and I’m feeling pretty crap right now and all the negatives I’m reading about are making me feel worse. I’m not down playing the pandemic at all, I know how serious it is, I know things have to be the way the are for now but does anyone have any positive stories to share?

For me, I’ve enjoyed the slowing down, not rushing everywhere and spending time with dh and dc’s

I think the biggest positive for me is that WFH will no longer be seen culturally as a massive privilege where it’s assumed everyone is skiving. Looking forward to getting off mat leave but still being able to spend time at home with my husband and baby.

Also, will be nice to see people taking basic hygiene more seriously (hopefully people will stop walking out of toilets without washing their hands, that kind of thing)

Just you and me then @ShirleyPhallus! You’re right, hadn’t thought about the additional hygiene. Another positive 😁

People being cleaner.
People not sitting next to me on the bus Grin
People realising the people who kept us going weren’t celebs/Influencers but nurses/drs/delivery drivers/binmen/supermarket staff.

Ooh yes buses! Not sure that one will last though! And absolutely re the people who have really kept things going.
