Adult ADHD diagnosis - any recommended specialists?

I would like to speak to a specialist about pursuing a diagnosis for ADHD as an adult. I am in London and will go privately. Can anyone recommend someone?

Hi, I went through Psychiatry UK this year. I was referred on the NHS but I was stressed waiting so used some savings on it.

They have a lot of psychiatrists who specialise in adhd. There seems to be appointments at all different times available too, that you can book online. Then afterwards you can work with an ADHD nurse to try medication if appropriate. Then hopefully be handed back to the NHS to continue the prescription under shared care!

Be prepared, if you do get a diagnosis, that you may need further health checks before you are able to be prescribed medication. That's the situation I'm in at the moment and I have had to pay for a private ECG as my NHS trust isn't routinely doing them due to covid.
