Anna and elsa dolls like on youtube

My cousins dd watches little videos on YouTube of girls playing with Anna and Elsa dolls but they are small - like half the size of a barbie - and they're child versions.

I'm trying to get hold of some and it's impossible! They have 'real' hair like a barbie and are about 6inches long. I've found some really cheap ones off eBay but they're very poor quality replicas which I couldn't give as a gift. There are toddler dolls which are quite big but she has one and her mum says she isn't interested. She loves playing with smaller dolls in her dolls house.

I don't understand why it's so difficult I see frozen stuff everywhere!!! Help!

Ah my girls used to love these dolls but they are really hard to find, Sainsbury's used to sell them, they are like gold dust to find.

Are these any good? Currently half price at Tesco.

These are quite different to the YT dolls but they are younger versions of Elsa and Anna.

Unfortunately they are no longer available but can be found on eBay (although used and costing more than brand new!)

Ellie I think it might be something that was only really sold in america as there always american in the youtube videos

Wisest I saw those and was keen despite there being no Amma and elsa but they have hard plastic hair. I'll probably get them anyway but it's become a mission now! Her mum said she looked 6 months ago for her birthday and couldn't find any and I said oh of course you can get them...Hmm

I’m sure that we have looked at something like this in Asda. About the size of a silvanian family figure. Real hair. Does that sound right?
They do all of the princesses but also have a set of frozen ones.

Anotherthink · 05/10/2020 20:39

Okayyyyy shipping alone would be 45 dollars. Why when I get sent items from china on ebay does it cost less than a fiver? Misleading! Grin

I got some eBay last year for xmas. I searched elsia and annia dolls. They were the same as on the stupid YouTube videos. It went down v well Grin

Anotherthink · 05/10/2020 20:46

The ones I got were pathetic quality user but they were very cheap, maybe it's worth another shot before accepting defeat.

I can’t see them online but they definitely had something that sounds right in our local store. I will try to photograph them next time I am in there.

LittleSwede · 05/10/2020 20:56

They are from the Disney petite princess range. Hard to get hold of in UK but sold on ebay from the US. Put Come Play With Me Elsia and Ania dolls in search option. DD is obsessed! We now have Rapunsie, Cinderellie and Bellie too, available from Sainsbury's much cheaper than the Elsia and Ania options. Some young American girls must be making an absolutele fortune from this venture!

Bubblebox · 05/10/2020 21:00

These are not the exact same as the Asda ones but might fit the bill, from B&M

The B&M ones are very similar. My DD loves Anya and Elsia and couldnt tell the difference between the B&M ones and the real ones.
