Would be sacrilege and too awful for words! They’re the only funny thing on the beeb (and they’re really funny)

AdoraBell · 05/10/2020 19:45

Haven’t seen anything, I’ll see if there’s anything in their website.

IsolaPribby · 05/10/2020 19:45

What for? Where did he hear this?

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 05/10/2020 19:46

Even the BBC wouldn’t be that stupid (surely?!)

LizzieSiddal · 05/10/2020 19:46

Whilst I like them very much, it’s a bit much to have two white men, always as team leaders. I’d prefer at least one woman there.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/10/2020 19:46

He saw it on YouTube. He doesn’t even watch it but he knows I like it.

Wouldn’t surprise me . It would be A Gesture. Maybe they are walking?

MyFavouritePlace · 05/10/2020 19:53

Surely that would be a decision for the production company (Hattrick)?

KetoPenguin · 05/10/2020 19:54

Sacking them or cancelling HIGNFY?

jeanne16 · 05/10/2020 19:57

Actually I do think the programme is very tired and no longer particularly funny.

hamstersarse · 05/10/2020 19:58

HIGNFY has been a bit shit for a while

Ian Hislop in particular is a bit smug and preachy and not funny anymore

Savemyusername · 05/10/2020 20:00

I have always enjoyed it but it has started to feel dated.

Laiste · 05/10/2020 20:02

Sacking isn't the same as no longer planning a next series.

Which is it?

BigFatLiar · 05/10/2020 20:02

It's rubbish, playground humour.

KANNET · 05/10/2020 20:06

I agree I used to love HIGNFY but it's been very hit and miss for the last few years.

iheardabell · 05/10/2020 20:18

This, I don't watch it anymore.
rslsys · 05/10/2020 20:37

Well they are not as diverse as Sue Barker - and she's gone!

Wow, nice bit of casual racism there Hmm.

😂
samosamimosa · 05/10/2020 22:59

I hope not it's one of the few programmes me and the teens watch together

Untangled87 · 05/10/2020 23:06

They're employed by Hat Trick surely, so they can't be sacked by the BBC? And I can't for a second imagine Hat Trick sacking them. Ian and Paul are the show, they've been there since day one and the ratings are still good.

I've always thought if one of them gets tired of the show and decides to leave, then they'll probably step down together. Hopefully that's a long way in the future though, as I love them both on HIGNFY.
