I've been trying to persuade DH for bloody ages to agree to getting a new sofa. Our current one is 15yrs old and knackered. He has understandably been reluctant because we have extremely grotty children!
But, it has now been "sanctioned" that I can seek out a lovely new one, yay!
Because of said grotty kids, I've decided that getting a vintage looking leather sofa is the wisest option. The kind of leather that will weather and wear over the years, so spilt food and general crap will enhance the look 
. I'd also like it to be a real keeper so would expect to have it for at least 20years.
Budget is around 2 grand (sadly my budget doesn't run to the amazing 4 grand one I saw on the Heals website earlier!). It needs to be about 2m long to fit into the space. And I'd like it to be a nice shade of brown. We also need to be able to lounge on it.
We're in London so needs to be delivered there, and of course even better if I can go and sit on it before we buy it.
So you helpful stylish people, what ideas do you have?
